Muskan Basnet is a young student from Gobriya, Mahendranagar, writing with hope and humility to seek a scholarship that can help her continue her education and move closer to her dreams.
Her life changed at a very early age when her parents left her and her elder sister. Since then, they have been raised by their thulobaba (Uncle) and thulomummy (Aunty), who took them in with love and responsibility despite having very limited means. Her thulobaba, who studied only up to Grade 3, has always valued education deeply and works tirelessly to support them as his own children.
The family lives under constant financial pressure. Her thulobaba earns a small income through raising and selling buffaloes and goats, selling milk when possible, and at times even selling land to manage basic household needs. Despite his struggles, he always prioritizes Muskan’s education. There have been many moments when school fees, uniforms, notebooks, and even exam payments were difficult to afford, yet he continues to support her with unwavering determination.
These sacrifices have deeply shaped Muskan’s outlook on life. Education has remained her strongest priority, and she is determined to continue her studies and build a better future. She carries a heartfelt dream of becoming a capable and educated individual, fulfilling her thulobaba’s hope of seeing her succeed in life.
For Muskan, this scholarship would be life-changing. It would ease the heavy financial burden on her family and allow her to focus fully on her studies without constant worry about fees and expenses. More importantly, it would give her the motivation and confidence to keep moving forward despite hardships.
She remains committed to working hard, making the most of every opportunity, and honoring the sacrifices her family has made for her education.
