Pratikshya Chaudhary is a student at Jan Jyoti Multiple Campus in Rautahat. Her life has been shaped by many hardships, but she has never lost her hope for a better future. Her family’s world was turned upside down when her mother suffered a stroke. Because they did not have enough money for medical treatment, the family struggled even to afford basic daily needs. This difficult time taught Pratikshya that education is the only way to escape poverty.
As the oldest of four siblings, Pratikshya felt the weight of responsibility early on. They all attended a local government school, but the family’s financial problems became so bad that she was forced to drop out after Grade 10. Leaving school was one of the saddest moments of her life, as it felt like her dreams were slipping away.
However, Pratikshya did not give up. With the kindness and support of her relatives, she was able to return to her studies and successfully complete Grade 12. These challenges have only made her stronger and more determined. She now looks at education as a lifeline—not just for herself, but for her entire family.
Now, Pratikshya is focused on her higher education. She wants to overcome the financial barriers that have stood in her way for so long. She believes that with the right support, she can build a stable life and give back to the society that helped her. For Pratikshya, this journey is about proving that hard work and courage can lead to a brighter tomorrow.
