Meet Mira Hayu from Triyuga Na.Pa.-10, Bokse, Udayapur, a determined young student whose journey reflects perseverance in the face of financial hardship and a strong commitment to education.

Mira completed her schooling from Shree Balmandir Secondary School, Bokse, securing a GPA of 3.00, and later completed her +2 from Triyuga Janata Multiple Campus, Motigada, with a GPA of 3.52 Despite her academic strength, her educational journey has often been challenged by her family’s difficult financial situation.

She comes from a low-income household. Her father, Badri Hayu, works as a wage laborer in a survey office, earning only NPR 7,000 per month, while her mother, Sarita Bhujel Hayu, works hard as a street food vendor and is the primary earner of the family. Despite their continuous effort, their combined income is barely enough to cover daily living expenses, making it extremely difficult to support Mira’s education.

From an early age, Mira has been a bright and hardworking student, but financial struggles repeatedly disrupted her academic progress. There were many instances where school fees could not be paid on time due to the family’s unstable income. Still, she remained focused and never gave up on her studies.

Her parents have been her greatest inspiration, constantly encouraging her despite their hardships. Mira dreams of becoming an IT Officer and working in a reputable organization. She believes that pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology is the key to achieving her goal, but financial constraints have remained a major barrier.

When Mira learned about the scholarship opportunity through her college teachers, she saw it as a turning point in her life. She believes that the scholarship will ease her financial burden, allow her to focus fully on her studies, and bring her closer to her dream career in IT.

With this support, Mira is determined to work hard, succeed in her studies, and make her parents proud. She sees this opportunity as the foundation for a brighter and more stable future.
